"Raised in northern Colorado with 10 siblings, hard work came to me at a young age! Growing up, I worked with my mom who had her own house cleaning business and I learned all of the best cleaning tricks and gained much experience as a teenager. My dad owned a landscaping company and I worked with him as his scheduler gaining knowledge in how to run a business and obtaining customer service skills at a young age.
in 2017, I branched off to start a little cleaning business of my own in Colorado!
I had my son Roman in 2020 and in 2023, we set off on an adventure and moved from Colorado to Asheville, NC where I started up my second cleaning business.
After a number of months and a newly accumulated client base, Hurricane Helene hit Asheville in 2024 flooding the town. I watched my newly built business float down the river. I eventually decided it was time for Roman and I to move to Charlotte, NC. I then started my 3rd cleaning business.
My first clients were moms who struggled with mental health due to the overwhelming mess in their house. After I cleaned, I saw how much happiness and peace it brought them. Cleaning became my passion and I hand picked other experienced girls who are just as passionate to help others as I am. As moms ourselves, it's our mission to help other families live a life of peace through cleaning.
I believe positive mental health begins with a clean and cozy space and I'm excited to build my business for the final time here in beautiful Charlotte!"

Meet the owner
Rachel Lorraine, owner of Rise n' Shine House Cleaning, has dedicated 10+ years to perfecting cleaning techniques, gaining knowledge on the science behind cleaning products and which chemicals may be used on which surfaces. Rachel grew up with a large number of siblings and a mom who taught her hard work at a young age. As a single mom herself, Rachel understood the importance of having a clean home, but simply not having the time.
After meticulously training her teams to take care of the reoccurring cleaning services, Rachel specializes in extreme cleans and hoarder clean outs helping those struggling with mental health.
It became Rachel's goal to help others create a clean environment, believing it has a positive impact on their mental health. Wanting to help struggling parents in a bigger way, Rachel started a non-profit called Lighthouse Cleaning Ministries, helping families in crisis with home cleaning services free of charge.
